Aerospace Business Integration Executive Education
Professional development aimed at the future leaders of
Aerospace business
The ECATA ABI course is conducted during 11 weeks off-the-job training, at ECATA universities, in different countries.
The course is organised in three intensive residential periods between in the year, participants returning to their home workplace during two weeks in between.
First host university. Delegates follow lectures on International Aerospace Environment, System Integration & Technologies and Multinational Programme Management. They participe to an intercultural seminar and a team building seminar. Delegates start to work on their Multinational Team Project (MTP) by exploring the subject.
Second host university. Delegates follow more lectures on the same topics and participate to a seminar on Leadership Development and benefits from a personal coaching. Delegates continue their work on the MTP.
Third host university. Delegates have three weeks to finalise their MTP. At the end of these three weeks, they present their technical report to the customer team and show their results to the public during a final public presentation.
Lectures
Lectures are given by professionals from industry, agencies, airlines, European Commission, academia.
They are distributed over period 1 & period 2 of the session.

The Multinational Team Project gives the delegates at no risk (neither personal nor for the employer), the opportunity to practise project management, teamwork and leadership in a multicultural and multicompany environment similar to the real professional life (different nationalities and company working practices, milestones, customer pressure,...).
These seminars aim at allowing the ECATA delegates in reaching one of the goals of the course: the ability to work efficiently in multinational teams, an asset of critical importance for successful development of programmes with international cooperation.

This course addresses to young managers having 5 to 15 years experience, being selected to become leaders in European and international programmes.
The topic mainly covers programme management in multicultural environment. The cornerstone of the course is a team project with high relevance to the business. The topic is decided every year by the consortium, before the start of the course.
Lectures and workshops are given by professionals from the industry, agencies, airlines, European Commission, academia... Seminars and coaching are delivered by certified coaches.
ABI Executive Education Session starts at the beginning of each year. The 2025 session starts in January 2025.
