A consortium jointly run by the leading aerospace industry and universities
Last week, our participants had the opportunity to visit Saab, one of our consortium members.
The day started with a presentation on AI and SAAB’s approach to its applications, followed by a deep dive into the Global Eye (Airborne Early Warning aircraft) capabilities.
A key moment was visiting the showroom for a presentation on Missiles and Underwater Vehicles, followed by a true Top Gun experience—flying the Gripen simulator! 😎

This week marks the official start of the hashtag#ECATA 2025 training course, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
From Stockholm (KTH) to Toulouse (ISAE-SUPAERO), passing through Munich (TU Munich), our delegates will work on the use of generative artificial intelligence to improve overall performance across the aerospace industry. Through a mix of lectures, seminars, and technical visits, they’ll gain valuable insights to explore the topic and deliver impactful results.

After completing the ECATA program, our delegates become part of ECALAS (ECATA Alumni Association), a network of nearly 600 alumni! 💼
The annual ECALAS seminar is a great opportunity to:
✅ Reconnect with peers
✅ Attend insightful lectures
✅ Visit the facilities of our host companies
A big thank you to Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation and MTU Aero Engines for hosting this year’s snowy seminar! ❄️👏
