A consortium jointly run by the leading aerospace industry and universities
You are warmly invited to attend the final presentation of the ECATA course project, titled “From Interdependence to Sovereignty: A Study on Civilian and Defence Aerospace Supply Chains.”
Organised as part of the ECATA programme, this event will showcase the work of 22 delegates representing 9 leading aerospace companies. Together, they will present key insights from their research and explore the evolving dynamics shaping supply chains across both civilian and defence aerospace sectors.
At a time when questions of resilience, autonomy, and sovereignty are becoming increasingly central, this presentation offers a valuable opportunity to engage with forward-looking analysis and participate in discussions with industry professionals.

The ECATA 2025 journey has come to an end. This year, a group of aerospace professionals from around the globe came together with a shared objective: strengthening the European aerospace industry while exploring the transformative power of “Generative AI in the Aerospace Industry”.
Over the course of several months, the group traveled to Stockholm, Munich, and Toulouse, gaining insights from leading institutions and deepening their understanding of international collaboration and innovation in aerospace.

Our participants had the opportunity of visiting Saab, one of our consortium members.
The day opened with a presentation on AI and Saab’s vision for its applications, followed by a deep dive into the GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning aircraft capabilities.
A key moment was visiting the showroom for a presentation on Missiles and Underwater Vehicles, followed by a true Top Gun experience—flying the Gripen simulator!
